May 2014 graduation ceremony – a most anticipated event!

Graduation is always one of the most anticipated events for students. At Crown Institute, our May 2014 graduation was no exception.
 
Graduates and their guests gathered at the exclusive Kingston Room at Rydges Auckland Hotel for an afternoon of inspiration and celebration.
 
We were privileged to have Emmily Campbell from Smaller Earth as our guest speaker. Emmily trained in the Hospitality industry and travelled the world gaining amazing work experience. Her journey and determination inspired students and reminded them to set goals and always give their best.
 
We would like to thank Taste New Zealand and Rydges Auckland Hotel for sponsoring the fantastic prizes for the top students.

Crown’s December 2013 Graduation Unlucky For Nobody!

The superstitious would say that the date of Friday 13 December 2013 might have been an inauspicious day for Crown’s end of year graduation, but we're not superstitious around here, and this event wasn’t about luck! So, that afternoon, a large group gathered at the salubrious Kingston Room at Rydges Auckland Hotel to celebrate the efforts and achievements of our graduands. This group had worked hard and with the support of their tutors and others, they have all reached an important goal and passed another point on their career journey.

 

Attendees enjoyed a slide show that featured the graduating students enjoying their time at Crown, and were inspired by our guest speaker, Peseta Sam Lotu-Iiga (National MP for Maungakiekie).

 

Another highlight was a performance by Crown’s multi-cultural group made up of continuing and graduating students. Our Campus Manager, Natalie, was part of one of the performances.

Plenty of Prizes at Crown’s May Graduation

Graduation is always one of the most anticipated events for students studying at Crown Institute and our May 2013 graduation was no exception.
 
Graduates and their guests gathered at the exclusive Kingston Room at Rydges Auckland Hotel for an afternoon of celebration and inspiration.
 
We were privileged to have Alfred Ngaro as our guest speaker. In 2009, Alfred received the Sir Peter Blake Emerging Leader Award for his contribution to the community. In 2011 he entered parliament as a List MP for the National Party.
 
Alfred congratulated the students on all of their hard work and spoke about the importance of dreaming big. He also spoke about goal setting and always giving your best in all that you do.
