NCEA results are out now. We hope you did as well as you expected and gained entrance in your chosen course.

Some of you may have not achieved University Entrance and this is OK! You still have many different options up your sleeve to get you to your career goals.

Certificate into a Diploma

If you are looking at getting into a management role in the Travel or Hospitality sector, you can start off studying a certificate and gain some practical and theoretical knowledge in your chosen industry.

Once you have gained all the necessary knowledge, you can step into one of our management diplomas. You can gain a certificate and diploma in Travel and Tourism in only two years or in Hospitality in two and a half years!

Want to start working in the industry as soon as possible? You can study a one-year certificate at Crown and, with the right work experience and attitude, step into a job in your chosen industry.

According to Tourism New Zealand, two million holidaymakers visited our shores to enjoy what New Zealand had to offer in 2018. These visitors spent around 40 million dollars every day and this money was used back into our communities. The tourism industry plays a huge part in showcasing our corner of the world to the rest of the world and this is where we need people like you to join the tourism industry.

Crown Institute of Studies Proud to Announce Partnership with Upskill Study Programs and StudentsGoAbroad

Being a student at Crown Institute of Studies just got better, thanks to an international memorandum of understanding with Upskill Study Programs and StudentsGoAbroad. As a result, Crown Institute of Studies now has more opportunities to offer their students.

What does this mean for the students at Crown? In a nutshell, there will be more international options opening up on the horizon, allowing students to get crucial international study experience under their belt.

To celebrate the partnership, Crown Institute is giving a scholarship to their top New Zealand Diploma in Tourism student each year to attend a 4-week summer course in Bali with Upskill, on Sustainability and Eco Tourism.  Click HERE for more details about the program.

Why Bali? And why sustainable tourism? At the end of the day, for Crown, positive tourism learning is about learning how communities can sustain tourism, and how tourism can sustain communities.
