| Kahlia completed her studies with Crown in July 2014 gaining her Crown Certificate in International Travel, Tourism and Airline Studies, which included both the STA Sales and Marketing Certificates. Kahlia came to Crown from Albany Senior High School. She was a committed student who excelled in her time management and organisational abilities, handling both study and work at the same time. While studying she worked for Function Staff, where she was able to go to many events and meet a range of inspiring people while sharpening her hospitality and customer service skills. Always being the go-getter with a can-do attitude, Kahlia had secured herself with a job in the tourism industry, which started the very next day after she had finished her Crown course. Currently Kahlia is working in a full-time position with 360 Discovery Cruises as a Customer Service and Sales Representative. Of her position there, Kahlia says “Not only have I got a position in the office, but I am also doing training for working on the boats so [360 Discovery Cruises] have offered me a range of opportunities here. I enjoy the face to face contact with the customers and love gaining a rapport with them!” So what does the future hold for Kahlia? Her long term goal is to be a flight attendant so honing her customer service skills with 360 is definitely a great stepping stone. With Kahlia’s great attitude to work and life in general, the sky’s the limit!
