Samoan Language Week 2022 - Sunday 29 May – Saturday 04 June 2022

Continue the Voyage with Competent Wayfinders of the Ocean

Le Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa is an amazing chance to interact with your aiga (family) in your community, recognise expertise, promote a steady flow of Gagana Samoa speakers into your study and work area, and allow the community to direct the teaching and learning in a fa’asamoa manner – the Samoan way.

The 60th anniversary of Samoa’s independence coincides with Le Vaiaso of le Gagana Samoa 2022.

More information about le Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa and other events can be found on the website of the Ministry for Pacific Peoples or the website of your local public library.

“My whole experience at Crown was absolutely the best. From being a shy & keeping to myself type of person, the staff at Crown managed to bring out a completely different side of me – I would say I changed a lot! Crown is a place filled with encouragement & support, a place I cherish the most because it is what helped me be more confident and outgoing as well as gain friends who have become family.”
