We are thrilled to announce approval and accreditation of our new programme:

New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Social and Community Services) (Level 4) with strands in Disability Support and Mental Health and Addiction Support

The programme has approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority and Tertiary Education Commission.

Programme delivery links, in a small way, to one of Whatu Ora’s primary goals to, over the next two years, drive improved health outcomes and equity by focusing on groups who have greatest opportunity for health gain – Maori, Pacific people and tangata whaiaka / disabled people.

The programme will teach and train learners to become professional Support Workers who support New Zealanders, in a mana-enhancing way, to achieve equality and equity in health outcomes and enable good lives.

Our first intake will be 31 January 2023.
