Congratulations to Shiori Naka for being ranked above all other students who sat the IATA examination in New Zealand in March 2013!

This is the second consecutive IATA examination in New Zealand in which the top-performing student was from Crown Institute.

Crown Institute students again achieved a 100% pass rate in the exam, with many receiving the highest possible grade, ‘Distinction’.

As New Zealand’s top performer, Shiori now has a personal letter of reference from the IATA Training and Development Institute (ITDI), which will look great on her future job applications.

“Shiori thoroughly deserved this outcome as she was a dedicated student whilst studying at Crown, working very hard throughout the course. Shiori is now back in Japan completing her university degree. I wish her every success and am sure that she has a very bright future. I can hardly believe that I have been so lucky as to have two top performers in New Zealand in a row in this exam and I’m absolutely thrilled!” says Laraine Holdom, Shiori’s tutor.

Crown Institute is Auckland’s leading Business, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality and English Language training college. Established in 1972, Crown is the city’s longest established private tertiary institute, and is recognised as a quality leader by New Zealand and international employers.
