2024 High School Leaver Scholarships

Crown Institute awards scholarships up to the value of NZ$8,000 to high school leavers enrolling in programmes commencing February and March 2024.

Scholarships are valid for the 2024 and 2025 academic years.  Awards will go towards tuition fees for either the first or second programme enrolled in (pending student’s fees free eligibility).  The scholarship award can also go towards the cost of the HONG KONG education trip*

Hong Kong Education Trip*

Crown Institute will select top students to attend the HONG KONG Education Trip. 

Students will visit a local University and International Cooperates. It will be a life-changing experience.Students will meet top business people and will learn to understand the pressure and work life in an Asian City.

Requirements

  • Must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must be enrolled in a New Zealand secondary school in 2022.
  • Provide mid-year school report showing a strong academic record, good attendance and overall effort.
  • Provide a character reference from a member of staff at the secondary school currently enrolled in.

Terms & Conditions

  • Open to students enrolling in courses (20 weeks or above) offered by Crown Institute of Studies
  • Students must meet the course entry requirements.
  • Students must start their course in the February 2024 intake.
  • Awardees will be selected by a panel of Crown Institute staff.
  • Unused scholarship value cannot be cashed out or transferred
  • Applications close Tuesday, 31 October 2023.
