dress for
success

Crown runs a ‘Dress for Success’ Competition twice a year which is open to all students. The competition involves classroom activities where we learn about and discuss what is acceptable and not in the workplace, and where to get the best bargains when you’re shopping on a budget.

The next day, each team is given a fixed amount of money and let loose in the city to find the best outfit for their team.

Each team nominates a model who will demonstrate their outfit, to be judged by a panel of tutors. The winning team will get vouchers for food or movies. This competition allows students to get a clear idea of what is appropriate work attire and how to shop on a budget, helping you prepare for the workforce!
